Gabumon decided that of all people to try and see first other then Yamato, was Agumon. With Gomamon gone for the time be, Agumon and Gabumon were really the only ones that were constantly with their humans. (Or atleast to Gabumon’s knowledge) 

Quickly he jumped into the digital world, hoping to find Greymon walking around helping out little villages, or just Agumon, lounging around somewhere full from a meal he just devoured in ten seconds flat. When he finally found Agumon, he smiled, waving his hand to get his friend’s attention. He brought snacks of course, Agumon ate more then he’s ever known a digimon to eat, next to himself of course. 

“Agumon! Hey AGUMON!” He hadn’t seen his friend in awhile, and he couldn’t wait to actually spend some time with him. Gabumon picked up his pace to run up to the digimon, grinning. “I brought snacks!” 

Agumon felt like he had been walking for ages. He was so lonely. Sure he had met new friends. He had met Terriermon who had talked of tamers, Tomiki who  could turn into a  digimon warrior and now Akari who used something called Digixros. However there was one friend that Agumon missed- Gabumon. The two digimon were the best of friends even if their human partners were not. 

” GABUMON!! ” he called. He sighed. He had contacted Yamato to say that if he found Gabumon, he would contact him.  As he walked though the digital world, he saw a familiar siluette. He knew only one digimon that  it could be.

” GABUMON!!!!!”  he said as he ran towards his old friend. 

Gabumon couldn’t help but give his friend a broad smile. 

“Agumon!” Gabumon closed his eyes and tilted his head, laughing. “Well fancy meeting you here! Whatcha up to?” Gabumon handed his friend the snacks and sat down, resting his paws on his legs. He was tired from all the walking he had been doing lately, and with Yamato off somewhere today, he figured a relaxing day with Agumon might help. The digi world was actually sort of quite right now, peaceful almost.
